As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll work closely with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating electrical scopes across multiple projects
- Support procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Track project progress, manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Maintain accurate documentation including drawings, specs, and compliance records
- Collaborate with field supervisors and foremen to resolve issues and maintain momentum
- Monitor budgets and assist with cost tracking and forecasting
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on project status
- Help ensure safety protocols and quality standards are upheld throughout the jobsite
- Contribute to project closeout including punch lists, final documentation, and lessons learned
