Full‑time position beginning January 5, 2026. The Lead Teacher will be employed under an annual contract. The initial contract term runs from January 5, 2026 through May 31, 2026, with the option to renew for the following school year, August 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
Job OverviewWe are seeking dynamic, dedicated educators for our preschool classroom serving children ages 30 months to 4 years. This is a 40‑hour per week position, with the option to choose one of the following schedules:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment consistent with TOBschool’s mission.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with the preschool’s project‑based learning philosophy.
- Maintain attendance and progress records accurately.
- Participate in all required staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information.
- Demonstrate professionalism and positive communication with students, colleagues, and families.
- Adhere to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- A brief statement sharing your thoughts on the project‑based learning approach.
- Resume and three professional references.
- Copies of relevant licenses and certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Meets all state Lead Teacher requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete all required background and fingerprint checks.

- 10‑day paid winter break.
- Performance‑based bonus each semester (eligible after first 90 days of employment).
- On‑the‑job training in project‑based learning curriculum.
