Garver is seeking a Transportation Roadway Team Leader to join our growing team in Franklin, Tennessee
. The role involves mentorship, training as a seller-doer, marketing services, client interaction, and career growth opportunities.
- Develop project/task schedules for active projects
- Facilitate coordination with subconsultants and internal design team members
- Provide oversight of plans production for transportation design projects
- Prepare plans, cost estimates, reports, and calculations required for client deliverables
- Lead engagement and interaction with design teams, clients, and project stakeholders
Technical experience should include:
- Geometric design for roadways/interchanges
- Construction sequencing and traffic control
- Utility relocation coordination
- Marketing activities, including proposal production and participation in interviews
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- PE license in Tennessee or ability to obtain reciprocity within three months
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, MUTCD, TDOT design manuals
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-first mentality
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred skills:
- Experience in consulting engineering focusing on TDOT or other DOT projects
