STV’s Transportation group currently has an opening in our
** Franklin or Chattanooga, TN
** offices for a
** Transportation Engineering Specialist**.  This person will primarily perform production of plans, specifications, quantity estimates and various studies and reports for road projects including but not limited to design projects for public agencies.
** The candidate will be responsible for:
*** Supporting interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production
* Assisting with the design of roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic and other roadway infrastructure
* Interacting with client management teams, engineers, and marketing teams
* Design using Bentley Open Roads Designer
** Required Skills &

Required Experience:

*** BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering / EIT Certification is required
* ** 2 or more years of experience
** in transportation, highway and roadway design, or closely related engineering field.
* Proficient in Bentley Micro Station & Bentley Open Roads Designer
* Familiarity with TDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications
* * Ability to support management and provide technical expertise in the following areas:*- Roadway/highway design
- Vertical and horizontal alignments
- Pavement section design
- Drainage system design

Compensation Range:$65,126.50 - $86,835.34
