Candidates should have 3+ years of residential or light-frame structural design experience
, a bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and familiarity with residential building codes. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

• Design and analyze residential and light commercial structures using wood, steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Prepare structural calculations, framing plans, construction drawings, and engineering reports.
• Evaluate existing structures and develop practical solutions for renovations and additions.
• Review architectural plans and structural designs for code compliance.
• Apply the International Residential Code (IRC), International Building Code (IBC), and relevant engineering standards.
• Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, homeowners, and fellow engineers.
• Conduct occasional site visits to assess structures and support construction projects.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving and support junior engineers as your experience allows.

• 3+ years of residential or light-frame structural engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with wood-framed structures and other common structural materials.
• Working knowledge of residential building codes and structural analysis.
• Ability to read construction drawings and communicate technical findings clearly.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with structural design software and CAD tools preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
