Rolling Hills is looking for a dynamic PRN Outpatient Therapist to join our Outpatient Team. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing group counseling services to the Adolescent and Adult populations. The Therapist provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary, provides psycho-educational group exercises, and demonstrates an ability to form therapeutic relationships with all patient populations.

Job Duties /Responsibilities- Provides psycho-educational group exercises to all age groups while effectively managing group milieu
- Provides group and individual counseling to adult patients using clinically appropriate modalities such as cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy
- Maintains appropriate documentation as assigned in compliance with CMS and JCAHO clinical documentation (group notes, treatment planning, Suicide Risk Assessment, PSA, and discharges)
- Actively participates in treatment team planning, providing updates, assessing the patient's ongoing needs, and making treatment plan recommendations

This position is funded through December 2025 as part of the Psychiatric Hospital Grant with potential expansion through December 2026.
Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certification- Master's Degree in the Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) REQUIRED
- Current Tennessee Driver's License
- Current HWC and CPR Certification
Experience in providing individual and group counseling to individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting; excellent telephone etiquette and tact; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization; effective oral and written communication skills; basic data entry skills preferred; organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary;
flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary.
