Job Summary: The Sonographer uses diagnostic medical equipment to diagnose medical conditions, specializing in areas such as obstetric/gynecologic, abdominal, neurosonography, or breast sonography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and physician instructions
• Prepare equipment and select settings
• Explain procedures to patients and record relevant medical history
• Apply gel and operate ultrasound equipment to capture images
• Analyze images and prepare preliminary reports
• Maintain patient records and equipment, ensuring confidentiality
• Follow safety and infection control policies
