Physical Therapist Assistant; PTA PRN

Ahava Therapy Services provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across multiple care settings.

Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for Franklin Wellness & Rehab, an 83‑bed skilled nursing facility providing both short‑term and long‑term care. Therapists work as part of a collaborative in‑house rehab team, with strong leadership support, to help residents achieve independence and optimal function.

Location:

Franklin, TN.

• Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Observe, record, and report resident conditions, reactions, and responses.
• Maintain daily treatment records and progress notes.
• Assist in consultations with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the care of the therapy department's equipment.
• Participate in in‑service programs and departmental/facility meetings.
• Access continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical competency.
• Act in compliance with company and facility policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand payer reimbursement and allocate therapy resources efficiently.
• Support the company’s mission and maintain a professional image.
• Independently perform duties while recognizing situations requiring supervision.
• Maintain expected productivity levels.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license or eligible under state statutes.
• BLS/CPR certification (current or obtained during orientation).
• Strong observation, communication, and teamwork skills.
