The Breakfast Attendant (Full Time 5am - 11am) is responsible for ensuring guests enjoy a fresh, high-quality, and efficient breakfast experience in the Re:
Fuel area of the Aloft Hotel. This position plays a key role in maintaining the Aloft brand’s vibrant, guest-focused atmosphere by providing friendly service, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping breakfast items stocked and presented attractively.
Greet guests warmly and assist them with breakfast selections in a professional, upbeat, and engaging manner.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to ensure a seamless breakfast experience.
Maintain a clean, inviting, and energetic environment in alignment with the Aloft brand style.
Address guest feedback or issues promptly and report major concerns to management.
Prepare and set up all breakfast items, ensuring freshness, quality, and proper portioning.
Monitor food levels and restock as needed throughout service hours.
Follow food safety and brand standards for storage, labeling, and handling.
Ensure all display areas (hot and cold items, beverages, condiments) are visually appealing and fully stocked.
Operate basic kitchen equipment (coffee machines, toasters, ovens, waffle makers, etc.) safely and correctly.
Maintain cleanliness of the Re:
Fuel area, including tables, counters, floors, and self-service stations.Wash dishes, utensils, and serving equipment as needed.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen and dining areas.
Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures according to local health codes and Marriott standards.
Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing food and beverage supplies.
Conduct inventory counts and report shortages to management.
Properly label and date all perishable items following FIFO (First In, First Out) guidelines.
Communicate effectively with the front desk, housekeeping, and management teams to ensure a consistent guest experience.
Support other departments as needed during high occupancy or special events.
Attend scheduled team meetings and brand training sessions.
