Part-Time Front Desk Attendant

The Williamson County Archives Department is accepting applications for a Part-Time Front Desk Attendant. This position is responsible for welcoming visitors and supporting daily front office operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Welcome patrons, answer questions, and provide information regarding programs, services, and facility operations in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls.
• Enter data accurately and efficiently into spreadsheets and logs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light custodial duties and general facility upkeep.
• Enforce facility rules, policies, and procedures to promote a positive experience for all patrons.
• Provide assistance and support during programs, events, and occasional weekend activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and interact positively with the public
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
• Must be able to pick up and place boxes of records or bound record books

Special Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to learn about local attractions and historical sites
