As the Hiring Manager for Abound, you will be a key driver of our talent acquisition strategy, sourcing, recruiting, and hiring high-caliber candidates. You also will manage aspects of human resources related to our advisor-track team—ensuring that from recruiting through onboarding, each new team member is aligned with our culture, values and performance expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growth-oriented, high-energy environment, can travel occasionally (especially to college campuses for on-campus career fairs and speaking), and is passionate about building great teams and systems.

responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
  • Develop and execute a recruiting plan for hiring Associate Financial Advisors: build a pipeline of candidates through college campuses (financial planning departments), career fairs, professional networking and online platforms.
  • Partner with universities, student organizations (e.g., financial planning associations), career services, and internship programs to identify emerging talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing (phone/video and in-person), assessing cultural fit and technical aptitude, extending offers, negotiating terms.
  • Work closely with the lead advisors, team leads and senior management to understand staffing needs, role specifications, and growth plans.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time to fill, source of hire, quality of hire) and provide regular reporting to leadership.

Human Resources & Onboarding

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new associate advisors: orientation, training schedule, role expectations, mentor assignment, integration into team and culture.
  • Assist with HR‐related tasks for the advisor-track team: maintaining employee records, coordinating benefits enrollment, performance review logistics, development plans.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding recruitment, onboarding, HR policies and career progression.
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes and candidate experience: creating job descriptions, updating recruitment materials, enhancing candidate communications, refining our brand.

Culture Building & Brand Integrity

  • Promote Abound Wealth’s culture of being humble, hungry and people‐smart: ensure recruiting and onboarding reflect our core values and mission.
  • Support team events, campus visits, information sessions and other employer-branding activities to build awareness among target talent segments.
  • Provide a welcoming, inclusive candidate and employee experience that reflects our commitment to high-quality, client-first service and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 yearsof recruiting experience,preferably including campus/university recruiting, staffing for financial services, or recruiting for advisor roles.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting:sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable engaging with candidates, campus reps, hiring managers, and senior leadership. Able to break down concepts and processes and communicate them in a positive and motivating way.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and track recruiting metrics and deliver on hiring targets.
  • HR-process familiarity preferred:onboarding, benefits coordination, performance review processes.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail,able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a growing, fast-paced environment.
