We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester, OPUS for e-commerce website testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our online platform. The ideal candidate will have a mix of business knowledge, technical proficiency, and analytical skills to effectively bridge the gap between e-commerce business goals and platform functionality. The candidate  adept at planning, executing, and documenting test activities across multiple environments, ensuring every feature meets both business and user expectations before going live.

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and document functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes on the e-commerce platform.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and technical team members to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test scripts, test cases, and scenarios to validate that all functional and business requirements are met.
  • Facilitate UAT sessions by guiding stakeholders through test execution, capturing actionable feedback, and coordinating UAT sign-off.
  • Test core e-commerce functionalities, including product search, filtering, shopping cart, checkout, payment gateways, promotions, and order tracking.
  • Validate product search functionality for accuracy and relevance.
  • Verify integrations with third-party services such as payment processors, shipping APIs, etc.
  • Support supplier setup and maintenance processes ensuring supplier data and workflows are properly represented, enabled, and tested within the platform.
  • Document defects, track progress, ensure timely resolution, and retest fixes.
  • Validate website performance across devices and environments.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to key stakeholders.

Required Education and Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development.
  • Experience in software testing, ideally in e-commerce websites or web application projects.
  • Understanding of QA methodologies, testing types (functional, regression, UAT), and defect management best practices.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding user experience (UX) principles and usability best practices.
  • Experience using issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Test Rail).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of end-to-end e-commerce flows, including integrations with third-party services, is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical roles
  • This position is located fully in-person in our Franklin, TN HQ office.
