How You Make a DifferenceThe Employment Practices Paralegal supports employment litigation and claims management. Responsibilities include drafting responses to EEOC and state claims, attorney demand letters, subpoenas, managing discovery, maintaining claims databases, and ensuring deadlines are met. Additional duties involve processing settlement payments, vendor invoices, and severance agreements. Travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide paralegal and administrative support for employment litigation, claims, and discovery.
- Coordinate with counsel, insurance adjusters, and third-party administrators.
- Manage claims reporting, databases, and deadlines.
- Prepare subpoenas, settlement agreements, severance agreements, and payments.
- Support immigration inquiries, vendor coordination, and administrative duties related to litigation.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Experience: At least two years as a paralegal, preferably in firm, insurance defense, or healthcare settings. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases. Strong research skills.
Licenses/Certifications: Paralegal certificate or related experience required.
