The role of the sanitation agent is to ensure that all sanitation tasks are executed as per the company’s procedures and protocols. The employee also ensures the proper operation of equipment under his responsibility, in accordance with the specific operating procedures established as well as meet the production order schedule.

• Clean surfaces and equipment using water and cleaning products
• Rinse surfaces and equipment with water from high and low pressure systems
• Operate, maintain and clean floor, cleaning equipment (e.g. Zamboni)
• Clean surfaces and equipment using prescribed chemicals in accordance with protocols and procedures
• Perform daily tasks, including, but not limited to, emptying and replenishing garbage and recycling bins; replenishing hand soap, hand sanitizer and paper towel dispenser replenishing cup dispenser; replenishing and maintaining the health inventory, etc.
• Help the quality department to destroy the production inventory
• Assist in the emergency cleaning of production lines
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and installations
• Comply with health and safety and environmental standards and regulations, company policies and procedures and adopts the expected behaviour
• Participate in the resolution of work-related problems and recommend measures (Work Order) to improve productivity and ensure product quality, while ensuring that the remediation coordinator and supervisor are kept informed
• Participate in the training of workers on their tasks, safety standards and company policies
• Make replacements when required on key positions (Operator Level
  1)
• Ensure the proper operation of the equipment under his responsibility according to the operating procedures established by the company, inform your supervisor in case of mechanical failure, inform your supervisor and the laboratory in case of a quality problem, ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality, ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality
• Assist with work orders and create action plans
• Ensure and maintain good communication between your department and the other departments (maintenance, sanitation, laboratory and quality) to allow tasks to be completed
