Overview

The Stewardship Coordinator is a tenacious galvanizer and executor. With a focus on organization, follow-through, and collaboration, this role manages key donor stewardship programs including Gratitude Fest—one of our most meaningful internal initiatives—the ringless voicemail program, donor text list stewardship, large-gift thank-you letters, and a growing portfolio of new stewardship programs. The Stewardship Coordinator keeps details on track, coordinates across teams, and delivers timely, high-quality results that strengthen donor relationships and free up senior team capacity for broader initiatives.

This is an in-office role in Franklin, TN

Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…

  • Project Management
    • Drive Gratitude Fest forward as part of a broader portfolio of stewardship programs, including planning logistics, coordinating communications, and mobilizing staff participation.
    • Launch and manage the ringless voicemail program from scheduling through execution and reporting.
    • Oversee new donor text list stewardship, ensuring consistent, timely, and meaningful touchpoints.
    • Manage the thank-you letters program for large-gift donors, from drafting copy to maintaining quality and timeliness.
    • Play a key role in the advancement and improvement of the new donor onboarding process with vendor and internal teams.
    • Contribute to the execution of new stewardship initiatives as the portfolio of programs expands.
    Execution & Reporting
    • Keep details organized and projects moving forward to completion.
    • Build and manage projects in Asana.
    • Track participation metrics and donor touchpoints, generating reports and impact stories.
    • Prepare reports from multiple systems in a timely fashion to support decision-making.
    • Continuously improve programs based on feedback and data.
    Collaboration & Support
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Donor Services, HR, Facilities, Digital Marketing, Data Services, Technology, Communications, Engagement Services, and others) to ensure smooth execution of programs.
    • Provide stewardship support, including letters, phone calls, and other communications as needed.
    • Partner closely with the Senior Engagement Communications Manager and other leaders to align stewardship programs with Ministry-wide priorities.
    • Perform other duties as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in Salesforce is desired but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to inspire and equip others.
  • Highly collaborative, with a proven ability to build rapport across teams and departments.
  • Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Self-starter and resourceful with a passion for celebrating others.
  • Comfortable working with data, tracking participation, and sharing results.
  • A heart for donors and Ministry values.
  • Experience with CRMs, internal communication platforms, and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to adjust from working independently to a team setting.
  • Ability to adapt to changes that occur Ministry-wide and interdepartmentally.
  • Experience working for a Ministry and/or non-profit organization is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and is open to learning additional tools and technologies.
