Position: Nurse Practitioner – Pediatrics (Mobile, AL)

Franklin Primary Health Center is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care for children in Mobile, AL. This full-time position works under the supervision of a collaborative physician and plays a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced pediatric nursing care in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Conduct physical exams and record patient medical, psychosocial, and family histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and tests to assess health needs
• Initiate and modify therapeutic treatment plans for pediatric patients
• Evaluate developmental status and plan interventions accordingly
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff; oversee ordering of supplies and medications
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support funding-related reporting requirements
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and support operational initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or immediate supervisor

Health and Safety

• Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Comply with OSHA and CLIA standards
• Complete annual safety and hazardous communication training

HIPAA and Privacy Compliance

• Adhere to all HIPAA Privacy Rule policies and training requirements
• Ensure secure handling and protection of patient health information

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current Alabama Nurse Practitioner license and national certification
• Board Certification preferred (BCLS or ACLS)
• Pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual or bicultural background considered a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with patients and staff

Work Schedule & Pay

Full-time | Monday–Friday | Day shift | $110,000–$130,000 per year
