Job Title: Wound Care Nurse (RN)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor all types of wounds (acute and chronic).
- Develop individualized care plans for wound healing.
- Apply advanced dressings and use specialized wound-care equipment.
- Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and skin integrity.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage complex cases.
- Document wound progress and outcomes accurately.
Typical Requirements:
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse).
- Experience in wound care (commonly 1–3 years).
- Certification preferred:
- WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse)
- WCC (Wound Care Certified)
- CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse)
