Rolling Hills Hospital is hiring for Referral Nurses to work in the Call Center of the hospital. The Referral Nurses must be Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and will help coordinate and process admissions into the hospital. The Referral Nurses will review incoming referral calls and faxes, and manage the facility's bed-board, making sure to maintain an accurate representation of bed availability and placement for patients.
Shift Differential: $3 Weekend days; $4 Weeknights; $7 Weekend Nights

QualificationsEducation/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Currently licensed to practice by the Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. Certification by the American Nurses Association Credentialing Board is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse License or Licensed Practical Nurse License
- Current CPR certification (training provided)
- Current Handle With Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
Experience:
- Experience in psychiatric evaluation, triage, and crisis stabilization (preferred)
- Strong assessment skills (required)
- At least three years of acute psychiatric experience (preferred)
- Managerial experience (preferred)
- Excellent attention to customer service
- Ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic data entry skills (preferred)
- Proficiency in critical thinking related to psychiatric nursing, physical nursing assessment skills, and emergency management of psychiatric patients (essential)
- Understanding of EMTALA guidelines, mandatory screening adherence, and HIPAA regulations (knowledge preferred)
