Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert. We are looking for a team member who can create a welcoming experience for our guests and help us achieve our business goals.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve business priorities.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Be knowledgeable about the resources, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
