Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator

Ideal Millwork & Hardware is a residential millwork and hardware distributor serving contractors and builders across the Nashville metro area. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, service-minded team member to support our sales team and keep our customers informed from order to delivery.

This is a customer service and sales support role. It is the key link between our sales team, our customers, and our warehouse and delivery crews. You’ll keep contractors and builders updated on delivery timing and coordinate with our drivers and warehouse. You’ll work closely with sales, warehouse, and delivery staff to solve problems when they come up, and handle credits and returns.

The ideal person has a friendly, sales-minded personality, but what really drives them is taking care of customers and making sure every order goes smoothly.

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers after the sale, covering order status, delivery dates, and follow-up
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and warehouse staff to confirm delivery schedules and communicate them to customers
• Proactively let customers know about delays, backorders, or order issues, and work to resolve them
• Process credits, returns, and order adjustments
• Support the sales team with order entry, customer requests, and account follow-up
• Handle some purchase order entry and vendor follow-up as needed
• Maintain accurate order and customer records in our ERP system
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including lifting materials

• 5+ years of professional experience in customer service, sales support, order entry, inside sales, or a related role
• Experience with an ERP or order entry system is required
• Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software
• Excellent communication skills and a service-first attitude, with enough sales instinct to build strong customer relationships
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many orders and deliveries at once
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs
• Experience in millwork, hardware, building materials, or construction supply is strongly preferred

• Base salary: $50,000–55,000 per year
• Annual bonus opportunity of 5–10% based on individual and company performance
