About Monalee

Monalee is a venture-backed climate software and data company. Founded in 2022 with a focus on leveraging the latest technologies in software engineering and machine learning to digitize the end-to-end home electrification experience and lower the barriers many homeowners face when purchasing solar installations and battery storage.

• Develop consumer-centric and responsive web applications using modern technologies.
• Identify and implement web-based user interactions that enhance usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create high quality user interfaces.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of backend software, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build reliable and scalable applications that leverage Cloud services e.g. GCP, AWS.
• Write well-documented, tested code that adheres to best practices.
• Follow agile development methodologies and fast iteration cycles.

• Minimum of five years of combined experience in frontend and backend web development.
• Experience through contributions to production software or portfolio of personal projects.
• Preference is given to candidates with experience in high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and databases e.g. Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Previous work with third-party API integrations e.g. Calendly, Docu Sign, Zapier.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tooling e.g. Git Hub, Jira.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong collaborative skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mind.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Strong sense of ownership and dedication to continual improvement.
• Advanced communication skills, with a knack for understanding requirements quickly.
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
