The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $71,700 - $93,810. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Are you passionate about Production Quality? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our US QA department. As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer Level II,you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes on the manufacturing floor. This role focuses on implementing quality controls, resolving issues and collaborating with teams to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Control Implementation: Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Issue Investigation: Identify, investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Process Auditing: Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with established standards.
- Customer Escape Containment: Assist in customer escape containment and resolution processes by gathering data, analyzing defects and contributing to corrective actions as part of a team.
- Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Reduction: Participate in cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction and production stop activities by supporting root cause analysis and applying approved corrective measures.
- Documentation Review: Help verify accuracy in prints and acceptance criteria, contributing to defect identification, disposition and deviation processes while adhering to established quality protocols.

Collaboration:
Provide quality support for operations, working closely with production teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvements. Support the resolution of complex quality issues, utilizing advanced problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective preventative measures. - Metrics & Feedback Utilization: Utilize quality feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for design and process improvements, sharing insights with leaders, partners and other key stakeholders.
- Team Support: Support other quality engineers in their work, setting standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the quality engineering team.
- Industry Trends & Innovation: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, make improvement recommendations to leadership based on new insights.
- Compliance: Understand and comply with all applicable company policies and rules.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
