Utility Operator

• Shift: Swing shift (days, overnights, weekends, and holidays)

The above refers to the shift rotation, 12-hour shifts. Blank spaces are unscheduled days.

• Valid Driver's License (verified by DMV, must have at the time of interview)
• High school diploma/GED
• Successfully complete Work Keys Testing
• Successfully complete Drug and Background Screen
• Availability to work days, overnights, weekends, and holidays

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience

• Driving a fork or clamp truck to move materials, load and unload trailers
• Entering data into computer systems
• Sorting, staging, and moving wastepaper into production line
• Wrapping and labelling finished product
• Performing work according to safety standards and established Standard Operating Procedures
• Working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

Frequently: sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and speak and hear clearly, work with others, use keyboard/calculator, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Occasionally: ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or ramps, bend forward at the waist, crouch, push, pull, twist, drive, handle, reach above the shoulders, use hand tools, reach below shoulders, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Vision: Must be able to see color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
