Job Summary
Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking dependable, hardworking Plant Yard Workers to join the team at Meherrin Grain Group in Jackson, NC, and Franklin, VA.
The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with various plant and yard operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily plant and yard operations.
- Load, unload, and move materials as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the plant and yard.
- Assist with grain handling and general material movement.
- Perform general labor duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and removing debris.
- Assist equipment operators and other team members as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Previous general labor, warehouse, agricultural, or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Must be safety-conscious and willing to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
