JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skid Welding employees must be able to:

• Assemble and weld commercial and industrial assemblies related to HVAC units
• Accurately read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the parts and assemblies
• Ensure precise layout and welding
• Weld using FCAW primarily on stainless steel
• Weld using GMAW primarily on aluminum
• Partner with the Lead Hand to meet standard operation procedures
• Ensure safety policies are followed
• Other duties as assigned by a member of management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
• AWC Certification is preferred
• HIgh School Diploma or GED Equivalent required

Physical requirements of the job are the ability to:

• Lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours
• Reaching over shoulders/head
• Bending at waist/knees
• Twisting at shoulders/waist
