Summary

This role manages the flow of goods within a warehouse or plant. Responsibilities include production order picking, warehouse storage, inventory control, supply documentation, data entry, and material distribution or delivery as required by location needs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all warehouse or stockroom operations such as receiving, order picking, storage, packaging, shipping, inventory control, record‑keeping, data entry, and material distribution.
  • Maintain the flow of work and materials based on scheduled supplier deliveries, customer orders, and other internal or external delivery requirements according to established priorities.
  • Perform accurate and timely RF gun and physical transactions and verify transaction accuracy regarding stocking, movement, or other required material or goods activities.
  • Use pallet jack, scales or other machinery to disperse and move material.
  • Prepare, mark/label/tag and/or package materials or goods for receipt, storage, delivery or shipment according to location or customer requirements.
  • Conduct inventory counts, cycle counts, or physical checks to maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve missing packages, incorrect deliveries, damaged products, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety standards, procedures and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department and the company.
Supervisor Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages).
  • Beginner proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint; knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Sound knowledge of material handling processes: order fulfillment, packaging, inventory control, supply documentation, data and transactional management, and warehouse control techniques.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with an RF gun preferred; understanding of Lean manufacturing and participation in continuous improvement projects and 5S teams.
  • Reliable and flexible to work additional hours as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
Physical Demands

Employees will use hands for feeding, handling, and visual tasks; frequently reach with hands and arms while standing and walking; may lift or move objects up to 50 lbs and use a ladder. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations are available in compliance with ADA regulations.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a warehouse environment, including receiving, processing, inventory control, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and operating warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements
  • Safety toe shoes rated ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 in specific areas.
  • ANSI Z87.1 safety‑rated eyewear in specific areas.
  • Hearing protection where required.
  • Compliance with JSA in specific areas.
