• MA:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within
  45 day sunless department leader has determined it is not required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices

• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.

• MA:
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
• LPN:
  Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing

Schedule:

Urgent Care is open Monday-Friday from 745am-8pm. Saturday and Sunday from 745am-415pm.

Every other weekend rotation OR every 4th weekend rotation.

Typical one 12 hour shift and one 8 hour shift. Holiday rotation included.

As a
Medical Assistant/LPN
,you’llplay a vital roleinthe care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.

• Prepare patients for exams andassistproviders during procedures.

• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.

• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.

• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.

• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

For Medical Assistants the pay starts between $22-23/hr for LPN the pay starts between $/hr. Pay is determined by experience and qualifications of the position. Leaders may be willing to offer more with prior direct experience in the role.

The Aurora Urgent Care - Franklin located at 9200 W. Loomis Rd., Suite 212, Franklin, WI 53132 is a walk-in clinic that provides convenient care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries requiring same-day attention. The clinic treats conditions such as colds, flu, sore throats, minor injuries, sprains, cuts, infections, and other urgent medical concerns when a primary care appointment is not readily available.

The location offers extended evening and weekend hours, making it a convenient option for patients seeking care outside of traditional office hours
