NWM Terrace - 1 Northwestern Mutual Way, Franklin, WI 53132.

Schedule:

Full time and part time opportunities. Typical hours:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details provided at interview.

Compensation:
Pay range $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Previous catering experience is preferred.

Job summary and responsibilities are described below.

• Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served, and cleared in a timely fashion.
• Prepare and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; address last-minute changes and resolve problems.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items.
• Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions.
• Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A valid driver's license may be required. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
