The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers and selling products in a professional manner. They manage event execution equipment and maintain a professional appearance.

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with store management during supervisor absence.
• Act as point person for all events during supervisor absence.
• Assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Acquire knowledge of represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell to consumers.
• Perform all duties assigned to the demo program.
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples, complying with food safety guidelines.
• Use small appliances (microwave, fryer, skillet, coffee maker, knife) to prepare samples.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Complete all assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Submit required online reports on event day.
• Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient use of personal computer and mobile device.

Certificates:
Food Safety Professional Certification; local food handler permit if required.

Physical Demands:
Stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift up to 25 lb (occasionally 50 lb), push/pull a loaded demonstration cart, handle cooking utensils, contact cleaning supplies.

Working Conditions:

Retail store environment with limited travel.

English primary; bilingual possible.
