Hospice Pet Therapy Volunteers

Residential Hospice, part of Residential Healthcare Group, is committed to providing exceptional home health, palliative, and hospice care. We are seeking Volunteers with certified pet therapy dogs to visit hospice patients, using the natural bond between humans and animals to bring joy, humor, love, and companionship to those on their end‑of‑life journey.

• Visit hospice patients with your certified pet therapy dog to provide companionship, reduce anxiety, and bring joy.
• Collaborate with our care team—physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and spiritual care counselors—to support patients’ emotional and spiritual needs.

• Must own a certified pet therapy dog.
• Understanding of pet therapy guidelines and safety protocols.
• Ability to work empathetically with end‑of‑life patients and their families.

• Unconditional, non‑judgmental love that pets provide.
