Fraser Eye Care Center is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by conducting various ophthalmic diagnostic tests ordered by the physician and managing patient data using our electronic medical record system.

Michigan Locations:
Fraser, Port Huron, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, Warren, and West Bloomfield.

• Obtain patient's chief complaint, present illness, and medical history.
• Perform vision acuity and refractions.
• Conduct ophthalmic diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master, iTrace, Optos fundus, and angiography, as ordered by the physician.
• Manage patient data efficiently using the electronic medical record system.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Multi-task and thrive in a busy, fast-paced setting.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certification in COA or COT preferred.
• Proficient with computers and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Availability to work at multiple Fraser Eye Care Center office locations.
