About the Role

A well-established GP Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, well-established semi-rural team in North East Aberdeenshire. Serving a patient population of approximately 6,500 across three sites in New Pitsligo, Strichen and Maud, this role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, community-centred primary care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ANP seeking flexibility, clinical autonomy and a sustainable work-life balance while making a meaningful difference to local communities.

Responsibilities
  • Assessing, diagnosing, treating and referring patients as appropriate
  • Managing minor illness presentations
  • Supporting on-the-day and face-to-face appointments
  • Conducting comprehensive physical assessments
  • Assessing and managing acute clinical concerns
  • Providing patient education, self-management advice and health promotion
  • Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Maintaining accurate, timely and compliant patient records
Qualifications
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in primary care
  • Confident clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safe, patient-centred and collaborative care
