Hours:

16 hours per week. Pay: £13.61 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more.

We offer an hourly rate of £13.61 with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, earning at least £217 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Support the manager and be an important part of the management team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful and offered the position.
