We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Through care & Aftercare (TCAC) team, supporting care experienced young people as they move into adulthood.

This is a role at the heart of corporate parenting. You will work alongside young people aged 16-26, offering consistent, practical and relational support as they navigate the move from care to independence.

This is a genuinely rewarding role. You'll work with young people who are ready to engage, and those who aren t sure yet - helping them to see what s possible and supporting them to get there.

This post is advertised as full-time, permanent. However, there is flexibility to discuss part-time working, including as a split post where it could be shared between part time workers. The base location is also flexible, as TCAC is a shire-wide, dispersed team.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
