Job Description
We are looking for 2 LGV Drivers who will be involved in all aspects of road maintenance work.
It is expected by all LGV Drivers to assist and contribute to Road Maintenance on each site. Delivery of materials is not the only job we expect of our LGV Drivers. We expect them to assist the Chargehand in all works to complete the works on site. This includes Health and Safety on Site, Labouring, Rolling, Digging, Kerbing, Setting Up String Lines, Traffic Management to name but a few.
The charge hand is in charge for all sites and any assistance that they require is expected by all those on site including our LGV Drivers.
Currently the standard working hours is 37 hours per week, annualised to 35 in the winter and 39 in the summer. Hours of Work - Summer – 07:30 to 16:00 (Mon-Thurs) 07:30 to 15:00 (Fri), Winter – 08:00 to 15:30 (Mon to Friday)
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
