• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Evaluate and measure the company's profit and loss ratio
• Analyze budgets and create expense reports
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Develop and maintain financial databases
• Assist in the preparation of financial audits and coordinate the audit process

• Higher education degree in accounting or equivalent
• Several years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting, business and financial principles and methodologies (e.g. GAAP)
• Knowledge of related computer applications (e.g. MS AX, MS Excel)
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Independent, accurate and responsible approach to work
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player and strong communication skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), good knowledge of German and/or French
