We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing or inventory accounting to join our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting month-end close, and providing insight into costing and operational accounting. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager, with a clear pathway to leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Maintain and reconcile inventory and cost accounting records
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze and improve job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
• Assist with collections and vendor payment processes as needed
• Partner with operations and production teams to understand and explain financial variances
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems
• Mentor junior accounting staff as the team expands

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–6+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective communicator who’s proactive and collaborative in nature
