Position: Staff Project Administrator

The expected pay range for this role and location is $24-$26/hour. The final agreed‑upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.

Project Administrator Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administrative tasks associated with a project, including proposal and project registration, invoicing set‑up, and coordination of project resources.
  • Use ECS systems to manage project paperwork and documentation, maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Interact and collaborate with staff members on a variety of projects as requested.
  • Attend project meetings with senior staff and assist with resolving administrative problems.
  • Communicate with clients and external team members as required.
  • Assist with preparing invoices and collection efforts.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines, consulting with your supervisor to help prioritize tasks on a daily basis.
  • Begin to learn project and contract management skills.
  • Learn how to manage project budgets and handle change orders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor of Business or related field preferred.
  • 0 years of related experience.
  • If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Limited project management and contract administration skills.
  • Dependable, self‑motivated, responsible and detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, with clients, peers and subordinates, as well as independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Limited decision‑making skills.
