Job Description:

Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a Senior Therapeutics Discovery Branch Project Management Support to support the members rick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $105,000-$119,000.

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Responsibilities:

The employee shall support tasks within the Therapeutics Discovery Branch of the Molecular Biology Division. Key skills include proficiency in EXCEL, MS Project, and the ability to work independently, lead teams, multitask, and communicate effectively. A minimum of two years’ experience in a science laboratory environment, one year of project management experience, and a degree or PMP certification in project management are required.

A T3 investigation is also required.

This role involves working mostly independently, maintaining visibility on project costs, schedules, performance, issues, and risks. The employee shall understand and apply standardized project management processes and interpret project metrics. Skills in risk mitigation, organization, and communication are essential. The role comprises approximately 90% project management duties supporting PIs and 10% program management, including metrics collection and reporting.

Key duties include:

  • Research Proposal Support: creating, reviewing, and assisting with proposals, verifying documents, and tracking submission statuses.
  • Research Agreement Support: managing agreement packets, tracking expiration dates, and reporting project statuses.
  • FTE Project Coverage: tracking personnel funding, consolidating data, and assisting with budget changes.
  • Tracking Project Schedule and Performance: monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monthly Budget Execution: reviewing reports, assessing spend plans, and assisting PIs with issues.
  • Project Change Requests: initiating and managing change requests, developing documentation, and resolving issues.
  • Data, Document, and Manuscript Support: quality control, data compilation, manuscript initiation, and report monitoring.
  • Supporting other Directorates or Divisions as directed.
  • Project Execution: coordinating with stakeholders, tracking deliverables, and facilitating project completion.
  • Participation in weekly meetings and scientific progress reports.
  • Preparation of technical reports, proposals, and manuscripts; travel for conferences and meetings; reporting potential funding opportunities.
  • On average, the employee shall manage approximately 20-30 projects with a total annual portfolio of $5-10M.
