- Conduct field observations at jobsites in the region
- Sample and test construction materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel
- Prepare accurate daily logs outlining inspections and test results
- Communicate daily with the project manager or operations manager regarding project progress
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record
- Must pass pre‑employment screening criteria
- Ability to lift or move up to 60–80 pounds
- Capacity to work in all outdoor climates and over varied terrain
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with a company tablet and basic MS Office programs
- Basic math skills and measurement tool proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Hiring preference for technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
Salary: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour.
Sign‑on bonus: $200 upon hire; additional $200 retention bonus after one year.
