Chief Electrical Estimator .The Chief Estimatorwillleadtheestimatingdepartment ,overseethepreparationandreviewofallprojectbids,setbidstrategy,andworkcloselywithleadershipandoperationstowinprofitableworkandgrowthebusiness.

• Lead,mentor,andmanagetheestimatingteam.
  
  Thiswillincludeassigningprojects,setting priorities,andmanagingworkloadstomeetbiddeadlines.
• Reviewandapproveallestimatesandproposalsforaccuracy,completeness,andprofitabilitybeforesubmission.
• Developbidstrategyandmakego/no-gorecommendationsonprojectopportunitiesinpartnershipwithcompanyleadership.
• Estimatesmalltolarge,complex,orhighpriorityprojects.
• Establishandmaintainestimatingstandards,procedures,andbestpracticesacrossthedepartment.
• Buildandmaintainhistoricalcostdata,labor units,andpricingdatabasestoimproveestimateaccuracy.
• Identifyprojectrisks,scopegaps,and exclusions,andrecommendvalueengineeringopportunitiestoincreasecompetitivenessandprofitability.
• Negotiatewithsuppliers,subcontractors,andserviceproviderstosecurefavorablepricingandterms.
• Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithgeneralcontractors,owners,andkeyclients.
• Leadpre-bid meetings,sitewalks,andpost-bidreviewstounderstandclientneedsandanalyzewin/loss results.
• Ensureasmoothhandoffofawardedprojectstoprojectmanagementandfieldoperations,including budgets,schedules,andscopedetails.
• Compareestimatedversusactualjobcoststorefinefuturebids.
• Trackthebidpipelineandreportonestimatingactivity,hitrates,andforecaststoleadership.

• Previousexperienceasanelectricianorintheelectricalconstructionindustry.
• 3-5yearsofexperienceasan

  Estimator,includingatleast1-2yearsinaseniororsupervisoryestimatingrole.
• Expertabilitytointerpretblueprints,specifications,andtechnicalandnon-technical documents.
• Proventrackrecordofproducinghighlyaccurateestimatesforawidevarietyofcommercialandindustrialelectricalprojects.
• Demonstratedleadershipexperience,withtheabilitytotrain,develop,andmotivateanestimatingteam.
• Strongbusinessacumenandasolidunderstandingofjobcosting,margins,andrisk.
• Exceptional quantitative,negotiation,andclientrelationshipskills.
• Outstandingproposalwritingandpresentationskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipledeadlinesandprioritiesinafast-paced environment.
• Dependable,conscientious,andwell-spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft platforms(Outlook,Word,Excel).

• Advancedexperiencewith Accubid Anywhereestimatingsoftware ,includingdatabasemanagementandadministration.
• Experiencewithdigitaltakeoffsoftware(e.g.Bluebeam,Trimble).
• KnowledgeofNECcoderequirements.

Salary Range:$100,000to $125,000annually.

Salarywillbenegotiablebasedonknowledgeandexperience.
