Pediatrician

Private pediatric practice established in 1957, in beautiful, historic Frederick, Maryland, seeking BE/BC associate
* to join our team of 26 providers, a blend of physicians and pediatric nurse practitioners across 5 locations in Frederick County. The Pediatric Center is a proud member of Trusted Doctors, a pediatric “super group” led by past AAP president, Dr. Sandy Chung.

* Will also consider part-time and/or recently trained. Salary commensurate with experience and hours worked.

• At The Pediatric Center you will see 18-24 patients per day in the office

• Share 1:17 call with 17 physicians

• No inpatient rounds – those are covered by pediatric hospitalists
• You’ll round in the newborn nursery but there’s no C‑section or delivery coverage

• At The Pediatric Center you will have the support of a lactation consultant
  , triage nurses who act as liaisons between you and the patient’s family, and a referral coordinator
• An outside nurse triage service providing first line coverage on evenings, weekends and holidays

• 10 years is the current average length of employment for our employees
• 14.5 years is the average length of employment for our physicians

• We enjoy close affiliation with academic centers (Johns Hopkins, Children’s National Medical Center, and University of Maryland Medical Center)
• For over 30 years we have partnered with the University of Maryland Center for Vaccine Development to evaluate new, improved and combination vaccines.
