Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Neurologist (Hospitalist Neurologist) to join its hospital-based neurology team in Frederick, MD.
This role focuses on the evaluation and management of hospitalized patients with acute neurological conditions. Fresh graduates and early-career neurologists are encouraged to apply.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and inpatient consultations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute neurological conditions, including stroke, seizure disorders, altered mental status, neuromuscular conditions, and movement disorders.
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency medicine physicians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
- Interpret neuroimaging, EEGs, and other diagnostic studies as clinically indicated.
- Participate in daily inpatient rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and best-practice development.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
- Experience: Prior inpatient or hospital-based neurology experience preferred; strong new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
