Position Type: Part-time Variable Schedule
Position SummaryThis position supports the Adult Education & ESOL programs and is responsible for intake, assessment, registration, and enrollment of learners. This position provides student support from the time of application through enrollment and one year post exit. The Adult Education & ESOL Registration and Intake Specialist demonstrates sensitivity to and understanding of community college students’ diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and racial/ethnic background and may use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with a post-secondary higher education environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Hours will shift per Adult Ed & ESOL registration cycle. To include daytime, evening, & Saturdays.
