Job Opening: Licensed Cosmetology Instructor (Learning Leader)

The Temple Frederick, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, is seeking a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor (Learning Leader) to join our team! We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, strong technical skills, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals. Flexible schedules are offered – perfect if you wish to remain part‑time behind the chair while also developing as an instructor.

• Classroom Instruction – Teaching haircutting, color, texture, theory, and/or professional development using Paul Mitchell systems and culture.
• Clinic Floor Supervision – Overseeing guest services, providing technical guidance, and coaching students on salon success skills such as consultations, rebooking, and retailing.
• Coaching & Mentorship – Inspiring, motivating, and modeling professionalism in alignment with Paul Mitchell culture.
• Ongoing Training – Participating in technical training and quarterly paid on‑site training to strengthen both instructional and technical skills.

• Current Cosmetology or Barbering License in the state of Maryland (required).
• Former or current salon experience working behind the chair.
• Passion for education, mentoring, and helping others succeed.
• Strong technical skill set in color, cutting, texture, and sanitation.
• Ability to use technology as part of the learning process.
• Comfort with public speaking and classroom instruction (for classroom‑based roles).

Salary: $21 - $24 per hour
