Resource Teacher

Overview

The Goddard School® in Urbana, Maryland, is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to join our team. We prioritize our teachers because they prioritize our students. As a Resource Teacher, you will work with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs, provide classroom support, and adapt to the needs of our school community.

• Collaborate on lesson plans and activities.
• Provide flexible classroom support for a high-quality educational experience.
• Organize classroom materials and learning centers.
• Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Communicate with families about children s progress.
• Maintain clean classrooms and adhere to health and safety regulations.

• High school diploma required.
• Empathy and compassion for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, children, and families.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and pass state background checks.
