Substitute Special Education Teacher (Western, MD region)

Monday to Friday – School Hours

• Under general supervision of a principal, plan and implement an instructional program and provide related educational services for students.
• Carry out a variety of student monitoring and control activities; perform related duties as required or assigned.
• Continuously assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for instructional and individual reporting purposes.
• Plan and implement appropriate instructional and/or learning strategies and activities.
• Manage the behavior of learners in an instructional setting to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Communicate with students on instructional expectations to keep them informed of their progress in meeting those expectations.

• Continuously assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for instructional and individual reporting purposes.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Background check clearance.

• Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral health.
• Compensated weekly.
