This role requires a highly skilled and innovative Computer Vision Hardware Engineer to design mechanical functions for an existing facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sensor installation, PC‑based vision systems, and interfacing with camera hardware. A strong background in computer science or engineering, hands‑on experience with vision system development, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement are essential.

Required

Skills & Experience
  • Experience designing mechanical functions in a manufacturing environment, including brackets, mounts and cameras
  • Experience with schematics and Solid Works
  • Experience working with PS (process science) vision engineers or contractors
  • Experience in custom work development
  • Experience in sensor management
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware in the field
  • Management of facility staff and contractors
Daily Responsibilities
  • 50% travel requirement across EST / CST time zones
