ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Engineer Associate is responsible for documenting, managing, implementing, and institutionalizing the Quality Assurance plan for the assigned business unit and/or service center.
- Incorporate and lead M.C. Dean's Quality Management System on the assigned project, ensuring control of documents and records, and non‑conforming installations.
- Initiate, follow‑up, and close out corrective and preventive actions.
- Document and implement the Quality Plan tailored to project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Partner with the project team to fully understand the scope of work.
- Establish and lead a 3‑Phase Quality Control Process conducting preparatory, initial, and follow‑up inspections.
- Collect data from internal inspections and prepare weekly inspection data logs (Field Data Collection Reports).
- Initiate and manage discrepancy notices, corrective action reports, and CAPA.
- Identify and provide solutions to project‑specific issues.
- Manage punch list identification and closeout process.
- Document tailored processes across the value stream using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL, and other frameworks.
- Recommend process optimizations and create control rules, policies, and procedures.
- Lead all quality assurance, compliance, audit activities and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct project‑specific audits to measure adherence to documented policies and procedures.
- Prepare product and process quality reports and develop a project scorecard on Quality Assurance.
- Lead special process improvement projects to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- 0+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial/Systems Engineering).
