Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist will provide evidence‑based evaluations and treatment sessions focused on emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and participation in daily activities. Through collaboration with specialty providers, the candidate develops and implements individualized treatment plans for new and existing Blackbird patients in a fast‑growing, innovative startup environment.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Complete a minimum of 6 60‑minute occupational therapy evaluations per week, with 30 minutes of documentation time for each session.
• Identify candidates for short‑term, focused OT treatment programs and conduct 30‑minute treatment sessions as clinically indicated.
• Participate in weekly team meetings (approximately 30 minutes per week).
• Maintain a clinical schedule that includes morning and evening evaluation times (8‑10 a.m. and 3‑7 p.m.) and availability on weekdays and weekends, with a preference for weekend availability.

The basics you’ll need:

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Licensure:
  Valid Maryland state license in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience:
  
  At least two years of service in occupational therapy in a pediatric or multidisciplinary setting; experience with telehealth preferred.

Salary Range

$45,000 – $55,000 USD per year.
